Yes, there are group creative writing sessions, as well as one-on-one sessions. Subject to the temperament/requirement of the student, a session can be customized.

Certainly most students have basic writing skills. Creative writing helps in putting the student ahead of others. It helps to enhance the student's approach to other subjects as well.

How will Creative writing impact full development of a student?

Creative writing helps the student to connect with their inner self, as also the exposure they get from their world. It sensitizes a student to think beyond themselves as well.

Creative writing in essence is a proven stress buster. Every students needs to step out of their routine and out of themselves and find and own their personal space.

Will it be competitive or fun?

Yes, it will be competitive, they will be competing with themselves, challenging themselves on a daily basis. They will have fun discovering their own creativity, enjoy their peers creative writing pursuits.

How is the Creative writing sessions planned in terms of scheduling?

We have planned modules on a 4-week basis. Each month we will be focusing on different genre of creative writing

How will creative writing sessions help in the student’s extracurricular activities?

There are a host of extracurricular activities like, Debates, Elocution, Drama and Essay writing competition. Creative writing will be a spring board for the student to get proactive in these areas of extra, curricular activities mentioned above.

Typically, creative writing helps the students put forth their content in a logical and creative form. They will impact and grab the attention of the viewers and listeners.

What will the Creative writing sessions include.

In broad terms creative writing will include:

Prose, Poetry, essay writing, word associations, vocabulary building, help develop a love for reading, film reviews, book reviews, journaling, writing about personal experiences, travelogues, food critics, narratives, descriptive articles, letter writing, investigative writings and word play games.

How will Creative writing help a student in preparing for admission to foreign universities?

Essay writing is very important facet in the foreign university admission process. The above topics help them to approach the foreign universities fully armed.

Is it possible to get the students work published?

Yes, publishing their works is encouraged. We start with getting them to write for their school and local community magazines.
